About this Collection
The 2019 Christmas tree collection was the third year for Katharine House Hospice collecting Christmas trees and was a great success with volunteers collecting 468 Christmas trees on the 12th and 13th January raising a total of £4,964.07*.
90% of the monies raised went to the Hospice - a total of £4,467.67 with £496.41 allocated to the local charity A Child of Mine.
A Child of Mine supports bereaved parents and families with emotional support, practical information and guidance after the most unimaginable loss, after a baby or child has died.

About the Hospice
Katharine House Hospice is an adult Hospice offering a haven of care and calm to those living with the challenges of life limiting illnesses.
It costs £3million pa to run the Hospice and 2/3rd of this is funded by the generosity and kindness of the local community.
