Storrington & Pulborough District Rotary Christmas Tree Recycling 2025
Storrington and Pulborough District Rotary is working in collaboration with Just Helping for our January 2025 Christmas Tree Recycling Scheme
Now in its seventh year, our Christmas tree recycling scheme helps to raise vital funds for our chosen charity - Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice - and for support in our local community.
We welcome your donation and in exchange we will collect your Christmas tree, take it away and recycle it for you. No hassle, no waste and no needles in your car!
What you need to know about this year's collection
We will be collecting trees in all RH20 postcodes, the village of Amberley and postcodes in and around Billingshurst beginning with RH14 9 from
Saturday 11th to Tuesday 14th January 2025 inclusive
Registration closes at midnight on Tuesday 7th January 2025
Remember to decant any decorations, take the tree out of the pot (if it has one) or remove the base. We cannot remove or recycle these.
Your tree must be ready to collect by 9am on 11th January. Please note that we are unable to tell you in advance which day or what time your tree will be collected.
Your tree must be left in a clear, unobstructed, and visible location. Due to Health and Safety policy, we are unable to, under any circumstances, enter your house or any confined or restricted space in your garden to access your tree.
Please help us reach our target of £6,000 by donating generously and thank you for your support!
For Chestnut Tree House Children's Hospice
A donation of £20 could pay for a fun hour of activities for a child, including treasure hunts, baking, sensory adventure stories, crazy foam messy play etc or it could pay for materials so a family can create hand casts of their child to treasure after they have died
A donation of £30 could give a child an hour of fun and specialist care at Chestnut Tree House, whilst parents take a well-earned break or it could give a child an hour of specialist nursing care at the end of their life, ensuring they are comfortable and cared for and their family are supported too; or it could give a family an hour of nursing support following the death of their child, helping them to plan the funeral and to say goodbye in their own way.
