About the Hospice
Salisbury Hospice is not just a just a building – it is a group of staff, volunteers and supporters who work together to provide exceptional care to patients with life limiting illnesses together with support for their families.
We provide this care to people living in a wide geographical area across Salisbury and the rural area surrounding it, which includes parts of Wiltshire, Hampshire and Dorset. As we believe that the end of life deserves as much dignity, care and respect as the beginning, everything we do is free of charge.
The annual running costs for the Hospice are £2.4 million and with less than 60% funding from the NHS, Salisbury Hospice Charity aims to raise £1.5 million of these costs each year.
We provide care for up to 1000 patients every year both in the hospice and in their homes – our Hospice at Home service is totally funded by Salisbury Hospice Charity.
